Ore:Gold
Capacity:4800 t/d
4800 t/d alluvial gold ore beneficiation plant is a large-scale solution for placer gold processing. Through screening, desliming, gravity separation (jigging, shaking table), it efficiently enriches gold from alluvial deposits. High capacity and environmental protection.
Introduction: Alluvial gold deposits are widely distributed worldwide, featuring high grades, low investment thresholds, and fast return on investment. In this project, Shunzhi provided a full range of services, including process design, equipment supply, and on-site installation guidance, ensuring the plant was successfully commissioned and met production targets. The project adopted a combined gravity separation–amalgamation process, which features a short construction period, low cost, and fast economic return.
Raw Ore Screening
A circular vibrating screen is used to remove oversized stones and debris. The particle size is generally controlled below 25 mm to ensure subsequent sorting efficiency.
Washing & Crushing
A trommel scrubber washes and breaks down clay clusters, releasing free gold particles. The slurry concentration after washing is controlled between 30% and 40% solids.
Two-Stage Grinding & Classification
A two-stage grinding circuit coupled with two stages of hydrocyclone classification was designed to ensure the grinding product fineness reached 90% passing 200 mesh, achieving sufficient liberation of gold minerals.
Gravity Pre-enrichment
Centrifugal Concentrator is employed to recover coarse gold. After pre-enrichment, the gold concentrate yield is typically 1%–3% of the raw ore, with a gold recovery rate reaching 60%–80%.
Amalgamation
The gold-rich concentrate is mixed with mercury (Hg) to form amalgam (gold content: 30%–50%). The mixture is then filtered or distilled to separate and recover the mercury, yielding sponge gold.
Amalgam Distillation & Gold Recovery
The amalgam is heated in a sealed furnace at 300–400 °C, causing mercury to volatilize. The vapor is condensed and collected for reuse, leaving behind sponge gold.
Mercury Recycling & Environmental Protection
A closed-loop condensation and activated carbon adsorption system is installed to recover mercury and prevent environmental contamination in compliance with green production standards.
