Product Details
The Belt Feeder is a kind of equipment that uses the continuous movement of the conveyor belt to realize material conveying and feeding. It has the characteristics of large feeding capacity, long conveying distance and stable operation. It can realize continuous and uniform feeding from the silo to subsequent equipment, and is suitable for various block, granular and powdery materials.
The Belt Feeder is mainly composed of a conveyor belt, driving roller, direction-changing roller, idler, tensioning device, silo, guide chute and frame. The conveyor belt is made of high-strength rubber belt or polyester canvas belt. A flat belt or a patterned belt (to prevent material slipping) can be selected on the surface according to material characteristics. For some special working conditions, high-temperature resistant and corrosion-resistant conveyor belts can be used; the driving roller is driven by a motor and a reducer, and drives the conveyor belt to move through friction; the idlers are divided into upper idlers and lower idlers.
The upper idlers support the conveyor belt and materials, and the lower idlers support the empty conveyor belt to ensure the stable operation of the conveyor belt; the tensioning device adopts spiral tensioning or weight tensioning to ensure that the conveyor belt has sufficient tension to prevent slipping; the silo is located above the conveyor belt, and a guide chute is arranged at the bottom to guide the materials to fall evenly on the conveyor belt; the frame is welded with steel structure to ensure the overall stability of the equipment. The equipment can be equipped with a speed-regulating motor according to requirements to realize the adjustment of feeding volume; for viscous materials, a cleaning device can be equipped to prevent materials from sticking to the conveyor belt.
The materials in the silo fall evenly on the running conveyor belt through the guide chute under the action of gravity. The driving device drives the driving roller to rotate, and the friction between the driving roller and the conveyor belt makes the conveyor belt run continuously at a constant speed. The materials on the conveyor belt move together with the conveyor belt. When the materials run to the discharge end of the conveyor belt, they fall into the subsequent equipment (such as crusher, conveyor, etc.) under the action of gravity. By adjusting the speed of the driving motor, the running speed of the conveyor belt can be changed, and then the feeding volume per unit time can be adjusted; the opening size of the guide chute can be adjusted according to material characteristics and feeding requirements to ensure that the materials are evenly distributed on the conveyor belt and avoid unbalanced load.
