Product Details
Introduction:The Batch Ball Mill is a grinding equipment widely used for laboratory R&D, pilot-scale testing, and small-batch production. Operating in a batch mode, it loads material and grinding media (e.g., steel balls) into a sealed grinding chamber. The rotation of the chamber causes the materials to be pulverized to a superfine state through impact and abrasion. Known for its operational flexibility, adjustable product fineness, ease of cleaning, and quick material changeover, it is the ideal solution for scientific research, quality control, and small-scale precision processing.
Working Principle:Material, together with a specified quantity and size of grinding media, is loaded into a rotating drum lined with wear-resistant material. As the drum rotates around its horizontal axis, the grinding media are lifted to a certain height by friction and centrifugal force before cascading or cataracting down. During this process, the media exert intense impact and abrasive forces on the material. Through continuous collision, compression, and shearing, the material is progressively crushed and refined. The mill stops after a preset grinding time, and the product meeting the target fineness is discharged, completing one working cycle.
