An external power source is converted from alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) through a power control cabinet. The DC current energizes the excitation coil, creating magnetizing force that magnetizes the core and forms a high-strength magnetic field on the pole face. As bulk materials travel along the conveyor belt beneath the separator, ferromagnetic impurities mixed in the materials are continuously attracted by the strong magnetic force, achieving iron removal.
