This is a magnetic separation device that generates a strong magnetic field via electromagnetic induction. Typically mounted above conveyor belts, it works in tandem with belt conveyors to remove ferromagnetic materials weighing 0.1–35 kg from non-magnetic bulk materials. It is equipped with a dedicated thyristor rectifier power supply; certain models are patented products with performance metrics complying with relevant industry standards, making them suitable for integration into automated production systems.
An external power source is converted from alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) through a power control cabinet. The DC current energizes the excitation coil, creating magnetizing force that magnetizes the core and forms a high-strength magnetic field on the pole face. As bulk materials travel along the conveyor belt beneath the separator, ferromagnetic impurities mixed in the materials are continuously attracted by the strong magnetic force, achieving iron removal.
