A metal impurity detection equipment based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. By generating an alternating magnetic field and monitoring changes in the magnetic field, it realizes rapid identification, positioning and alarm of various metal (ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic) impurities in materials. Some models can be equipped with automatic rejection devices to separate impurities in time to ensure product quality and production safety.
It is mainly composed of detection coils (composed of transmitting coil and receiving coil), signal processing module, display control unit and rejection device (optional, such as pneumatic push rod, flap valve). According to application scenarios, it is divided into channel type (materials pass through the detection channel), falling type (materials fall freely through the detection area), handheld type (manual mobile detection) and other types.
The detection sensitivity can be adjusted according to the material particle size and metal impurity size, the detection accuracy is 0.1mm, and it has data storage and traceability functions, which can record the detection time, impurity size and other information.
The transmitting coil generates an alternating magnetic field under the action of high-frequency current. When the metal impurities in the material enter the magnetic field area, eddy currents will be induced inside the metal. The secondary magnetic field generated by the eddy currents interacts with the original magnetic field, causing the induced voltage of the receiving coil to change.
The signal processing module amplifies, filters and converts the voltage change signal into a digital signal. After comparing with the preset threshold, if it is determined to be a metal impurity, it will immediately trigger an acousto-optic alarm, and at the same time send a signal to the rejection device, and push the material containing impurities away from the conveying line through a pneumatic push rod or a flap.
