Process Description

Introduction: Adopting mixed flotation-concentrate regrinding process can reduce the grinding cost, and be easy to manage. Application of new non-toxic flotation reagents is efficient and environmental protection.

Application: Mixed flotation-concentrate regrinding process is applied for Cu-Pb-Zn sulfide ore.

  • Creative process, low operation cost

  • Cu-Pb mixed concentrate regrinding process saves the grinding cost without finely grinding all raw ore, and it makes further monomer dissociation to create favorable conditions for the separation of copper and lead.

  • Strengthen Flotation Process, Increasing Copper Concentrate Grade

  • In rough flotation, the reagent is carried out strictly to control the reagent amount, realizing early recovery as possible. Reduce multiple recycling and valueless loss. Make the best of foam secondary enrichment, and wash the concentrate foam to reduce the impurities in foams according to suitable water adding.

  • Copper-Lead Mixed Flotation Separation

  • In flotation stage, the copper-lead mixed concentrates should be priority separated. After regrinding, the lead concentrates and copper concentrates are separated by flotation and respectively dewatering.

  • Zinc Flotation Separation

  • After copper-lead mixed flotation and mixing the slurry, zinc concentrates are separated by flotation from tailings. After dewatering, the zinc concentrate product is required.

Processing Flow

  • Crushing and Grinding: After multi-stage crushing of Cu-Pb-Zn raw ore by jaw crushers and cone crushers, send it to ball mills for grinding into pulp to achieve monomer dissociation of copper, lead and zinc minerals.

  • Pulp Conditioning: Feed the pulp into agitation tanks and add pH regulators, depressants, activators, etc., to adjust pulp properties to meet flotation requirements.

  • Preferential Flotation/Bulk Flotation:

  • Preferential Flotation: Add collectors to float lead minerals first,then activate zinc minerals and float them, and finally float copper minerals (the order can be adjusted according to ore properties);

    Bulk Flotation: Float copper, lead and zinc minerals together first,then conduct separation flotation on the bulk concentrate to obtain copper concentrate, lead concentrate and zinc concentrate.

  • Cleaning and Scavenging: Conduct multiple cleanings on froth concentrate to upgrade grade, and scavenge tailings to recover residual valuable minerals.

  • Thickening and Dewatering: Concentrate and filter copper, lead and zinc concentrates respectively for dewatering to obtain concentrate filter cakes.

  • Drying (Optional): Dry the filter cakes to reduce moisture for transportation and smelting.

  • Tailings Disposal: Concentrate and dewater flotation tailings for stockpiling, or conduct comprehensive utilization and environmental treatment.
