300 t/d Fluorite Ore Processing Plant

Ore:Fluorite

Capacity:300 t/d

300 t/d fluorite ore processing plant specializes in fluorite ore (including quartz-fluorite associated ore) processing. Through crushing, grinding, flotation separation, and cleaning purification, it produces high-purity fluorite concentrate (CaF₂ ≥ 97%) for metallurgical flux, chemical raw materials, and glass manufacturing. The process is mature, the concentrate quality is stable, and the resource utilization rate is high.

Case Details

Introduction: The 300 t/d Fluorite Ore Processing Plant is a small-to-medium-sized mineral processing facility dedicated to purifying fluorite (calcium fluoride) from associated gangue minerals like calcite, quartz and barite. Equipped with optimized gravity separation and flotation systems, the plant achieves efficient purification with strong adaptability to low-grade and complex fluorite ores. It features compact layout, energy-saving operation and stable output of high-grade fluorite concentrate, meeting the needs of metallurgical, chemical and ceramic industries.

The process adopts the combined route of "gravity separation pre-concentration + flotation purification" to realize effective separation of fluorite from gangue. The key steps are as follows:

  • Crushing & Grinding

  • Raw fluorite ore is crushed by jaw crusher and impact crusher to particle size below 12mm, then ground in ball mill to -200 mesh accounting for 70-75%, ensuring sufficient liberation of fluorite minerals from gangue.

  • Gravity Separation Pre-concentration

  • Ground ore pulp is fed into shaking table for gravity separation. Due to density difference, most high-density gangue (e.g., barite) is removed, obtaining fluorite pre-concentrate with CaF₂ grade ≥40%, reducing subsequent flotation load.

  • Flotation Purification

  • Pre-concentrate pulp is adjusted to pH 8-9 with sodium carbonate, then added with fluorite collector (e.g., oleic acid) and calcite depressant (e.g., sodium silicate). Fluorite adheres to bubbles to form rough concentrate, which undergoes 2-3 times of cleaning to remove residual calcite and quartz, obtaining high-grade fluorite concentrate (CaF₂ grade ≥97%).

  • Dehydration & Drying

  • Fluorite concentrate is dewatered by thickener and filter press to moisture content ≤12%, then dried by rotary dryer (optional) to moisture content ≤0.5% according to customer requirements, facilitating storage and transportation.
